I have very fine Hair so it tends to be rather flat. This means I spend a lot of time and money trying to give it any kind of volume. One day on a trip to Sally’s Beauty Supply I came across the ApotheCare booster line for fine hair.

The booster line by ApotheCare is supposed to add volume, or boost, to fine hair. The products are made with all natural ingredients that target different hair problems. The booster line is made with rosehip oil, aloe vera, and geranium.
These definitely smelled like flowers. I’ve honestly never smelled a shampoo that smelled more like sticking your face in flowers. I think the smell was one of the best things about this brand.
I did notice some body to my hair after a few uses. Someone told me my ponytail had more umph when I used the booster line. Unfortunately my hair did feel a dry after using these for a week. I had to swap in another conditioner a few times while using these. Since I have oily hair this drying wasn’t too bad. But those with already dry hair may have a problem.
Each 12oz bottle is about 10$. They come in a pump bottle that made it a bit hard to get the last bit out. But these did fit nicely on my shelf. If you’re on a budget these may not be your go to choice.
These were kind of a meh for me honestly. There were some pros and some cons. If you have fine hair giving these a try wouldn’t hurt. But I’m not running out for another bottle.
