Review: Farm Stay Snail Gel

Recently I discovered that the Snail Gel I use had been discontinued. Once I got over my sadness I took to Amazon to find a new version. After some research I settled on the gel offered by Farm Stay.

As I’ve mentioned in some previous posts I have oily skin. So instead of cream moisturizers I use gels. Mostly I use aloe gel and Snail gel.

Snail gel is basically a gel made with snail slime. While this may sound gross it’s actually really good for your skin. Snail slime helps fight aging, discoloration, dryness, and breakouts.

The snail gel by Stay Farm comes in a round plastic tub with a screw on lid. This 300ml tub is about $12 on amazon. Price wise this is great deal. I’ve seen smaller sized products for way more.

The first thing I noticed upon opening this gel was a pleasant smell. My last snail gel didn’t smell like anything so honestly I didn’t mind. The consistency is like any other gel.

To use just apply to clean skin after toner. There is no stickiness or residue with this gel. It seems to be keeping my face soft and happy for the few weeks I’ve been using it.

All in all I would recommend this gel to anyone, especially those with oily skin.
