Capcom back to the future with the The Disney Afternoon Collection

Today Capcom announced The Disney Afternoon Collection, a compilation of six games from the 1980s and 1990s. The Disney Afternoon Collection will be available as a digital download across Europe and North America for £16 or $20 starting on April 18 on Xbox One and PC.

The Disney Afternoon Collection is a dream come true for all gamers. Long-time Disney fans can relive the days of their childhood while newcomers will get to experience some of the best games ever created. Players will be able to relive their childhood afternoons with Disney and explore these pieces of gaming history with classics including:

  • Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers: This classic lets players team up with a friend in co-op as they assume the roles of the mischievous Chip and Dale. Chip and Dale take on memorable villain Fat Cat and attempt to solve the mystery of a missing kitten.
  • Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers 2: In the sequel, Fat Cat has escaped and his plans are even more dastardly than ever. The titular heroes and supporting cast of Monterey Jack, Gadget and Zipper must stop Fat Cat from his evil desire of world domination.
  • Darkwing Duck: Play as the original caped crusader and fight a city full of criminals from the infamous FOWL organization in this action platformer.
  • DuckTales: What can be said about DuckTales which hasn’t already been said? DuckTales is an iconic platforming adventure in which players help Scrooge McDuck fill his feathery pockets with vast riches from across the world.
  • DuckTales 2: The sequel to DuckTales comes packed with more action and takes Scrooge McDuck to mysterious and deadly locations like the Bermuda Triangle and Niagara Falls!
  • TaleSpin: Remember Disney’s Baloo? Well, in TaleSpin you can take to the skies as Baloo as the bear navigates his plane through strange and dangerous locations in this  classic side-scrolling shoot ‘em up.

Capcom added an in-game Disney Museum to The Disney Afternoon Collection. Just like Rare Replay, the museum provides gamers with a wealth of content which released with the original games. You’ll receive access to concept art, advertisements and music.
