Myostatin Mutation or Myostatin Deficiency
Myostatin-related muscle hypertrophy or Myostatin Mutation is a rare genetic condition characterized by reduced body fat and increased skeletal muscle size. Basically, Myostatin is a protein produced and released by myocytes that act on muscle cells. In simple words, if you don’t have Myostatin, then your muscles get bigger and you get stronger.
Many people are worried about the side effects of this deficiency but the good news is that there are no proven side effects as yet and it seems that most ‘sufferers’ live long and awesome lives as buff supermen. The only thing that’s different is their ability to get strong without trying.
