Snow Storm Tuesday Could Be One Of Biggest March Storms Ever In The USA

Large parts of the US are invigorating for a deep breeze that is forecast to spree major cities into chaos this week. The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a gale warning from midnight particularly in the regions of Connecticut,  New Jersey, Virginia, southern Maine and south of Washington.

Thousands of flights have been cancelled over the next two days. Bill de Blasio, New York Mayor, said in a press conference: “This should be a very serious blizzard, the High end could be as much as 24 inches which would, therefore, put this in the category of one of the biggest snowstorms in recent memory.”

According to the FlightAware, More than 3,600 flights within, into or out of the United States have been cancelled for Tuesday, mostly along the East Coast. De Blasio has warned New York’s residents to stay off the roads on Tuesday.

The National Weather Service (NWS) cautioned that the storm could bring record-low temperatures and they are expecting it to be the worst snow of the season. New York is likely to see winds as strong as 40-50 miles per hour (64 to 80 kilometers per hour).

United Airlines, American Airlines and Delta Air Lines issued travel alerts and began waiving re-booking fees for flights.
