Mata Naina Devi

Naina Devi Temple is situated in Bilaspur district in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. The hills of Naina Devi overlook the Gobind Sagar lake. The lake was created by the Bhakra-Nangal Dam.

The temple is connected with National Highway No. 21. The temple at the top of the hill can be reached via road (that curves round the hill up to a certain point) and then by concrete steps (that finally reach the top). There is also a cable car facility that moves pilgrims from the base of the hill all the way to the top.

Mata Jwala Devi

Jwala Devi temple is located in the lower Himalayas in Jawalamukhi town of the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh. The temple style is typical of Jwala Ji shrines, four cornered, with a small dome on the top and a square central pit of hollowed stone inside where the main flame burns endlessly.

The Mughal Emperor Akbar once tried to extinguish the flames by covering them with an iron disk and even channelizing water to them. But the flames blasted all these efforts. Akbar then presented a golden parasol (chattar) at the shrine. However, his cynicism at the power of devi caused the gold to debase into another metal which is still unknown to the world. even today you can see that metal chattar in the temple.

Mata Shakumbhri Devi

The abode of Shakti Goddess Shakambhari or Shakumbhri, is situated in the Jasmour village area, at a distance of 40 km to the north of Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh. Another temple dedicated to this goddess and quite famous is near the Sambhar Lake, in Rajasthan.

Mata Chamunda Devi

Mata Chamunda Devi temple is situated in the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh, around 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) west of Palampur. Chamunda Nandikeshwar Dham, also found in Kangra, is dedicated to Shiva and Chamunda.

Mata Chintpurni Devi

Mata Chintpurni Devi temple is a major pilgrimage center and one of the Shakti Peethas in India. The Chintpurni Temple is located in Una district Himachal Pradesh state, surrounded by the western Himalaya in the north and east in the smaller Shiwalik range bordering the state of Punjab.

Mata Sheetla Devi

Sheetla Devi Temple is located in Una district of Himachal Pradesh. It is near Chintpurni Devi Temple in Bharwain. In Gurugram of Haryana state, Shitala mata is considered to be Kripi (wife of Guru Dronacharya) and worshiped there in Sheetla Mata Mandir Gurgaon.

The Brajeshwari Devi temple, located in the old Kangra Township and is one of the 5 ShaktiPeeths in Himachal. Maa Brajeshwari Devi is also known as Vajrayogini and is considered as incarnation of godess parvati and the temple is said to be built over the charred breasts of sati.

Mata Mansa Devi

Mata Mansa Devi temple is situated in the Panchkula district of Haryana. The temple complex is spread of 100 acres of the Shivalik foothills in village Bilaspur, near Mani Majra, and Panchkula, 10 km from Chandi Mandir, another noted Devi shrine in the region, both just outside Chandigarh.
