Just Another Year. But Not Like Any Other Year.

“One small crack does not mean you are broken. It means you were put to the test and you didn’t fall apart.” – Linda Poindexter
I know we all start with old sayings, but this really impactful saying comes when we hit almost rock bottom in our lives. It may be a place that you delve into your sorrows or deepest insecurities, but it may also be a place for you to rise again from the slums, the once-broken.
Many times, a vision that is supposed set in stone cannot be realised by an army of soldiers with no weapons and wit. We need to hold on to our strengths and be conscious of our weakness.
Nothing lasts forever, every hurdle, every trial only makes you stronger. Do you remember that Oak Tree that stands outside your garden as long as you may remember? It stood the test of time, rain storm, monsoon come what may.
Come what may. We draw strength just like a roaring lion and stands strong like a century-old wise oak Tree that is the symbol of strength, morale, resistance and knowledge. Never falter, never ever back down.
Find the purpose that made you believe in the first place, and start believing again. Stay young, stay foolish. Fight like a Jedi, a Samurai, a Warrior, a Shaolin.
Soldier on, Braveheart.
So Long 2019, you were my greatest lesson to date.
