An Earthquake shook Tainan, a city in Taiwan. The earthquake is a deadly one. It killed seven people! Many people were injured. As per the recent statistics, 300 people were injured. As per the report, the earthquake struck 20:00 GMT on Friday. The rescue efforts were promised by President of Taiwan named Ma Ying-jeou.

Earthquake topples buildings and about 30 people are trapped inside. As a reiki master, I would like to send reiki to those people suffering from earthquake and wish their speedy recovery from injury. I would like to hear the social workers getting united and working for the earthquake hit people in Tainan at Taiwan.

The news of survivors are shocking. Some people said that they came out of the house by breaking the door using hammer. Some people rescued their lives by climbing the wall. Clothes were joined from end to end and a rope was made and the survivors used them like a rope and came out of the dangerous houses.

BBC World News reports that the whole room was shaking! Just imagine the room shaking when you are working with your computer right now! I felt that when I was working at World Yoga Society in Santoshpur, Kolkata. I found a slight tremor and could relate that with the horrific tremor experience of Tainan at Taiwan.

About 300 km far away, the earthquake was felt in Taipei. There were 5 aftershocks. According to geologists, Taiwan is located at the junction of two plates of tectonic. Tremors often occur in Taiwan for this reason. At Central Taiwan, an earthquake was experienced in 1999. The magnitude of the earthquake was 7.6 magnitude. That earthquake was horrible as it killed 2300 people.

I think people should be united and work for the relief operations of the earthquake. The social workers must get united and work with the government to take out the victims of earthquake. The victims should be helped by the common people also on humanitarian grounds.
