DRAKE BREAKS FIRST-DAY APPLE MUSIC & SPOTIFY STREAMING RECORDS WITH “GOD’S PLAN”


Drake is no stranger to the land of breaking records, with most of his recent albums bagging records and awards alike, and it seems Drizzy doesn’t plan on stopping this amazing feat anytime soon.Barely a week after the release of his debut single “God’s Plan” of his two-song EP, Scary Hours, the song was announced to have created a new record for the highest single streams on Spotify in a day (4,326,679 streams), and also set a new record for Apple Music’s first-day streaming with 14M streams to its name.

The song is already slated to debut at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart next week.

Drake’s streaming numbers have at an all-time high for a while now. In 2017, the rapper was announced as the most streamed rapper of the year and was followed by Future. Drake hit 6 billion streams in 2017 and was also the only artist to have streaming numbers that high during the year.
