Oli Wardrope capturing large snake
14-year-old Oli Wardrope of Queensland, has been capturing snakes since he was 5 years old, according to his father, Chazza Wardrope.
Yogi McDougall recorded the recent encounter the boy had with the large snake. The boy and his father arrived at the scene at which a large snake was crawling underneath a car.
The fearless boy lied down on the ground underneath the car and began pulling the snake out from underneath the vehicle.
Wearing just shorts and a large glove on one hand, Oli pulled the snake out of the car. He then grabbed the snake by the head and slowly made his way out from under the car.
Another man is seen holding a large bag as Oli dumped the snake into it.
After the snake was secured in the bag, Oli’s proud father approached his son and gave him a handshake, declaring that this is his boy.
The incident unfolded before Oli went to school on Wednesday morning. "That's my boy. Been wrangling snakes since he was five," Chazza said.
The video of the incident was uploaded to Facebook, where it went viral.
