Overview of the Film Raees :
"FAN" film of Shahrukh Khan was not liked by his fans. Film made good earnings of 80+ crores but it was not able to create a mark at Box-Office. Shahrukh is coming up with his new film named "Raees". The film was scheduled to release on Eid, along with Salman Kana's "Sultan" film. But at last Shahrukh and producers decided to lengthen the release of the film to avoid losses.Now release is scheduled in 2017. The film is action thriller film. So Raees has become one of the awaited upcoming films of 2017. According to the first look of the film, the story of the film seems taken from the real incident from 1980 of a Gujarati person named Abdul Latif. Shahrukh Khan is playing a role of Abdul Latif . Shahrukh Khan is shown doing some illegal work and how he fights against ACP Ghulam Patel. Most of the shooting is done in Mumbai and last few scenes are taken in Gujrat.

According to Wiki, Nawazuddin Siddiqui is playing a negative role against Shahrukh Khan. Sunny leone has a special appearance in the film for the song named "Laila O Laila". Song is of 1980's and Shahrukh is shaking legs with Sunny. Remaining star cast is yet to be declared.
Release date :
As told before, film release date is postponed because of the film Sultan and few unwanted statements from Shahrukh Khan.
According to the wiki, now the film will release on 26 Jan 2017. This is the same date on which movie Kaabil is releasing. Kaabil film belongs to Hrithik Roshan. It will be really interesting to see the competition between these two film. But this will surely affect the Box Office Collection of both the films.
First look :
The film is based on a real story of 1980. The story belongs to Gujrat. The story is of a bootlegger. A bootlegging is an act of making, reproducing or selling of products in an unauthorized way. Then hero of the story who is Shahrukh gets threatened by ACP Patel (Nawazuddin Siddiqui). And how he fights against him. Most of the shooting is done in Mumbai. A few days ago, the posters of the film were out. Shahrukh is looking intense in those posters.
The trailer of the film Raees is not yet released. And might be released before 25 Dec 2016.
Box office collection :
As the film is of Shahrukh Khan, everyone is looking at the film as a big film. As said before, Raees is one of the most awaited upcoming films of 2017. According to our expectations film will earn a high amount and even it will be able to put a mark on Btown. Unfortunately, the film is sharing the release date with Kaabil film, which has a unique story and strong star cast too. This might affect the collection of the film.
