Eat a balanced diet. Balanced diet is food of the ingredients that includes all six tastes. Six tastes are sweet, sour, salt, pungent, bitter, astringent.
Eat fresh food, wholesome and home-made.
Avoid food additives and preservatives. Stale food, fermented, left over, highly processed food should be avoided. That is; eat natural and organic.
Avoid heavy foods in the evening. Evening foods should include greeneries, vegetables, salad, fruits and likes.
Eat at regular intervals everyday. Eating at regular intervals tells the body to become habitual to the periods of activity and rests.
In ancient time cooked food were considered more nutritious and healthy than raw foods. That was because raw foods were prone to be contaminated. These days raw foods might be healthy but, cleanliness and contaminations should always be checked.
Vegetarian diet is easy to body as it has high fiber, low saturated fats and complex carbohydrates. Even if you are non-vegetarian, eating vegetarian foods help you in getting the benefits of the vegetables.
For non-vegetarians eat white meats and avoid red meats.
Take time to eat. Enjoy each gulp.
When eating, eat. Don’t do other stuffs like watching TV, reading newspaper, or listening to music. Soft, background music is ok but, headphone should be a no no.
