Hillary Clinton is part of the Inheritocracy

The one fact about the American people that the Leadership of the Democrats and Republicans fail to grasp is that the people hate the smug perspective of the Party leadership. Because of this, we've seen the emergence of Trump and Sanders as seemingly viable candidates. That doesn't mean these party "leaders," who are self-serving egomaniacs, will get the point.

But now it appears that the Democratic Old Boys and Old Girls like Wasserman will snatch the victory of being able to choose their president without being told who to pick from the hands of American voters. Pundits say that the party leadership will subvert voters' wishes for Sanders to be their Democratic candidate, and give Clinton the nod.

Which brings us to the other thing US voters have been hating so much that they will consider a crotchety old socialist as their candidate over Clinton, the party's fair-haired girl: much of the US populace despises that this country's politics has become little more than a conglomeration of insider deals. People become president because they are buddies with the leadership of their party or because their father was president before them, or become senator or secretary of state because their husband was president. And from there, why not a second president in the same family? It's happened before.

Meritocracy? More like inheritocracy.

When this nation was founded, inherited titles were outlawed. The new Americans, former English subjects, had felt the military boot that always accompanies such rigged systems, and they wanted to avoid a replay of that system. But here we are, in a time when politicians can claim to have earned their own way when truly, they'd never have been given a shot at all if they hadn't prostituted themselves to the system in the first place.

If Clinton gets the nod, I predict a steady flow of Americans will be leaving the US in search of kinder climes. Ditto, if Clinton wins.

People in this nation are tired of a few old boys deciding their fates. And nowadays, we live in a telecommuting age, which means that many high-earning pros can afford work-wise and money-wise to live anywhere in the world they want. Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if that mass exodus began years ago--around 2008.

Another day, another dirty dollar "earned" in the good old Land of the Fee and Home of the Knave... Maybe we get what we pay for, and if we are cheap, we get cheap.
