Ryan Reynolds Posts a Bittersweet Tribute to a Young Deadpool Fan Who Died of Cancer

Ryan Reynolds may be super attractive and hilarious, but there's another reason we love him so much - he has a big heart. The actor took to Facebook on Thursday to share a Bittersweet Tribute to a Young Deadpool Fan who recently died of cancer, and you might need some tissues. "For three straight years, my friend, Connor McGrath drop-kicked cancer... Not sure how... Maybe the cancer cheated... But the fight came to an end two nights ago," he wrote. "Connor was 13. But this kid... He was smart. He was funny. And not just funny 'for a kid' - or funny 'for a person battling something awful.' He was unqualified funny. He had that... thing. That thing you see in great performers or comedy writers. A running commentary/observational skill people are just lucky to be born with."

Aside from reminiscing on his time spent with the young boy through the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the actor, who is currently expecting his second child, also made sure to point out that showing the 13-year-old an R-rated movie was in no way inappropriate, because he "knew more swear words than a British chef." After offering his condolences to Connor's family, Ryan concluded the long post by simply writing, "See ya down the road, Bubba."
