Communities United for Restorative Youth Justice (CURYJ) presents the 3rd Annual Reclaiming Cinco de Mayo Event “From Defending Our Pueblos to Defending Our Hoods” on Thursday, May 5, 2016.
This year they call to end the incarceration of children and youth as adults in the criminal injustice system, as we continue to defend our hoods- from colonization to gentrification. Reclaim Cinco de Mayo with CURYJ, rerooting yourselves in the legacy of resistance and defense of communities against cultural exploitation.
