Season 12 of Friday Nights at the de Young opens with a celebration of the special exhibition presents an evening of art, live flamenco jazz and a film screening to complement the new Oscar de la Renta retrospective exhibition.
Don’t forget – museum admission to the permanent collection galleries is now free of charge during Friday Nights at the de Young (tickets are still required to view the special exhibitions, such as Oscar de la Renta: The Retrospective).

His latest work,Descarga for Monk (2015) placed Conde among the best album lists of prestigious international publications such as Downbeat, All About Jazz, Cadance, and Latin Jazz Network. KQED acknowledged this album, featuring a unique application of flamenco rhythms to Monk’s jazz standards, as one of the Top Ten Bay Area jazz releases of 2015.
