Kary Arora’s New Music Video “Yaadein Bachpan Ki” To Be Released In Dec 2016. Auditions started.

Recently, in Aug she took an audition of makeup artists and hair stylists and also promoted them on her Facebook page by sharing images. Kary’s team recorded this live audition, made a video of 18 minutes in a form of episode and started promoting it on the internet.

The audition held in the month of August, at Plumber, New Delhi. Around 128 people registered themselves from Agra, Punjab, Rajasthan and Himachal as well. There was a questionnaire and a live demonstration round for makeup artists and hairstylists. For the makeup artists, the live round subject was to do nude and glamorous look in 10 minutes. And for the hair stylist ones the subject was to do freestyle front look and messy bun in 15 minutes.

The list of Honorable Judges is as follows:

Dr. Neena (Owner of Nina Naturals cosmetics)
Mr. Vivek Bhatia (Vice president of zee enterprises entertainment Ltd.)
Mr. Param (Director of many music videos and award-winning short films)
Mrs. Simmi Malhotra (Creative Director)
Mr. Arun Malhotra (Executive Producer) and
Miss Kary Arora (India’s first female DJ, music director, singer, rapper, lyricist & poet).

According to the judges’ assessment parameters the contestants were judged as best, excellent and super excellent.

Finalized Contestants for the Music Video
Best – 6 hair stylists
Excellent –5 Makeup artists, 2 hair stylists
Super Excellent – 1 makeup artist, 1 hairstylist

On the entire episode of shooting the audition, Kary says, “When the media started writing about me as an inspiration to many I decided to support talent by making a video episode of audition while making my music video YAADEIN BACHPAN KI. The first audition for the song was for Make Up artists & Hair Stylist. This is because the masses talk about glamour only. But don’t really know who the real people are behind every person looking glamorous and how do they do it. Four things are very important in entertainment industry creativity, funds, talent & glamour. I feel it’s a fantastic effort. This video episode showcases the real work of makeup artists & hair stylists then why not show it to the world how hard working these people are. Our audition of makeup artists & hair stylists was to judge how much practiced, experienced and perfect these people are other than their creativity. It’s so easy just to hire or associate with people. But difficult to showcase other’s creativity as it takes time, understanding, funds, and efforts. And I did that wholeheartedly because when I think of doing something, I do it. The best part about making such efforts is to see the tears of happiness on the face of winners. It gives me satisfaction.”

The next series of audition’s video episodes for Dancers and Child actors is expected to be held in Sep 2016 and Oct 2016 for the same Music video “Yaadein Bachpan ki”.
