640 Rice farmers benefited from [FADAMA]

About 640 Rice Farmersrice farm in Enugun state has benefited from FADAMA, FADAMA has put smile in the face many Rice farmers helping them in financing them to scale up the production of staple food item in enugun and bigeria at large, so they have so much pleasure in doing their daily farm activities without stress.In previous years the federal government of Nigeria in it Agricultural transformation Agenda in 2013 has stop the importation of staple food items such as importation of tomatoes, rice, sorghum and several others which leads to the capital flight and depletion of the foreign reserve in the country at large. Mr Ike ogoke who is the coordinator general of [FADAMA] has let out the disbursement during the brief meeting with the rice farm to let them know the fifty percent support on inputs and eight percent support on cost of assets available to them through their appointed service providers. Ogboke said, ”Federal Government had in 2013 as part of its agricultural transformation agenda,moved to scale up production of staple food items and stop their importation.Our disbursement meeting with Rice farmers is to let them know what we have in mind for them rather to support each Rice farmer with fifty percent [50%]of inputs and eight [8%] of the cost of assets which includes trans-planter, barrows,water pumping machines and other necessary equipment the farmer need to achieve positive result in the area of Rice farm produce…
