So I was looking forward to trying Cuir Vetiver and see what Yves Rocher can come up with after a decent Ambre Noir. As it appeared in my area over the last weekend, I sampled it. To start off, I do not get too much vetiver and if there is some, it is the Red Vetyver type of vetiver. I think that tonka note plays the key role here. I get some sandalwood as well but no leather (which the name could suggest).
The overall impression is somewhat close to Eau de Baux shower gel (which, to my nose, is different from edt). I would say its ok, especially for the price that they quote. Longevity was around 4-5 hours (wrist) and projection rather on the timid side. I ended up buying a shower gel.
Would be really curious about your impressions!
