A man has been knifed by two attackers in broad daylight at a busy shopping centre in London. 


The stabbing occurred at Westfield Shopping Centre in White City around 2pm today.


According to reports, two men were seen running from the scene, shouting ‘we poked him up good’ after the incident.




The man, said to be in his 20s, suffered stab injuries and was taken to hospital.


Two men have been arrested in connection with the investigation.


Parts of the shopping centre are currently taped off by police while they investigate is ongoing.


A Met office spokesperson said: ‘Police were called around 1400 hours to reports of a man stabbed at Westfield shopping centre.


‘Officers and London ambulance services attended and discovered a man aged in his 20s suffering stab injuries. He has been taken to hospital and we await an update on his condition.’


‘Two males have been arrested in connection with the investigation.’
