1) Where did you travel? Tell us about your travelling experiences and the best things you did on your favourite trips.
I have travelled all around South East Asia, with an amazing trip to Hong Kong along the way. Following the Asia trip, I spent a year in Australia, travelling and working in Sydney. Currently, I’m spending 5 weeks in New Zealand followed by another 5 weeks in America.
Experiencing other cultures is fascinating and the breathtaking scenery is something I have not been exposed to much in my life. I am so lucky to have accomplished what I have over the last 17 months. Completing my diving course in Koh Tao, Thailand was also mind-blowing. Vietnam was my favourite country as a whole and Angkor Wat in Cambodia is the most amazing manmade monument on the planet in my opinion. It is incredible that after all of those experiences, they can get even better within the remaining 6-7 weeks of my travelling.
2) Do you have any places that you are looking to travel to next?
As I said I will be heading to America soon. After that I will start planning my next trip and hopefully I will be able to see more of Europe….Italy, Croatia, Scandinavia, Belgium, etc.. I am also very keen to tour South America, with Machu Pichu in Peru being a massive contributing factor. India and Sri Lanka are high on my bucket list too for the delectable food.
3) Advice for the those who are going to travel soon?
Always assume that you will never return to that country and try to do as much as your budget permits. Know that all other travellers are in your position so try to make as many friends as you can and really put yourself into the local cultures as much as possible.
