Bleating humour

In the Bible, it says it is a sin to call your brother/sister a “fool” or an “idiot”.

Two women discuss a co-worker.

Maria asks, “Why does he act like an idiot at times?”. Cynthia hisses and responds, “Maria! It is a sin to call him an idiot”. Maria laughs. Then retorts, “An Idiot is an animal indigenous to semiarid regions of West Africa”..

“Stop feeling clever with yourself. God knows what you meant. It would be better if you honestly called him a common animal like a goat”, Cynthia replies.

Maria ripostes, “It wouldn’t suffice. A goat doesn’t have to be an idiot, just stubborn and he’s both”.

Inspired by a conversation I had today. Cheers!
