Comparing US Politicians to Star Athletes

So, we thought it would be fun to find some commonalities between former Presidents, Vice Presidents, and Presidential Candidates with current and former Star Athletes and coaches.  Surprisingly, we found many striking similarities.

Let us begin…

Bill Clinton Tiger Woods

Bill with Monica and Tiger with all them side women.

Dick Cheney Plaxico Burress

It’s simple, really. You just can’t trust either with a gun.

Hillary Clinton Tom Brady

The similarities are endless between Tom and Hillary. Both have been involved in plenty of scandals.  Both are shrill and obnoxious.  Both are strongly disliked by those who don’t support their party/team.  Oh, and not to mention, both have been heavy favorites only to lose to what seemed to be easy opponents: Barack Obama and the New York Giants. Hey Hillary, are you a Patriots fan?

Ben Carson Andy Reid

Ben Carson and Andy Reid seem to be very smart men.  However, watching Ben Carson try to say something intelligent in a debate is like watching Andy Reid try to explain his poor clock management.  Just cringe-worthy.

Gerald Ford The Replacement Refs

Could they have done worse? Maybe.  But they sure could’ve done a heck of a lot better.

George Washington Michael Strahan

Sure, they were awesome and revolutionary at what they did.  But for crying out loud, haven’t they heard of a dentist?

Richard Nixon Bill Belichick

The connection is pretty obvious here. Spygate and deflategate have the word gate in them for one reason: Watergate.

Jimmy Carter = Carmelo Anthony

These guys have proven that a soft defense gets your team (or country) nowhere.

Donald Trump = Pacman Jones

Eventually, these guys need to learn to keep their mouths shut.

Herbert Hoover Chip Kelly

The commonalities between Kelly and Hoover go beyond their striking physical similarities. Kelly ruining the Philadelphia Eagles parallels Hoover’s ruining of America.

James Buchanan Andy Dalton

Buchanan was never married, and Andy Dalton clearly isn’t looking for a ring either.

George H.W. Bush Ken Griffey Sr.

Both have been overshadowed by their son in some way (for Bush, not necessarily for good reasons)

Grover Cleveland LeBron James

Grover Cleveland took a term off from running America, and LeBron took some time off from running Cleveland’s basketball team.

William Henry Harrison Johnny Manziel

William Henry Harrison died 32 days after his inauguration as President of the United States, and it doesn’t look like Johnny Football will last much longer in the NFL.

George W. Bush Yogi Berra

“They misunderestimated me.” ~ George Bush

“I never said most of the things I said.” ~Yogi Berra

Enough said.

Barack Obama Blair Walsh

Both went just a little bit too far to the left…
