Who is Ray Liotta?

Raymond Allen Liotta was born on 18th December 1954 in Newark, New Jersey, USA. He is an American actor, producer and also, a voice actor. He studied acting at the University of Miami.

In his initial years, he acted in TV in Another world. He is famous from the crime-drama Goodfellas(1990) as Henry Hill and in Field of Dreams as Shoeless Joe Jackson. He also featured in supporting roles in movies such as Unlawful entry, No Escape, Wild Hogs, etc. He also made “little movies” like Dominick and Eugene.He received a Golden Globe nomination for his second feature Jonathan Demme’s Something Wild and won the Boston Society of Film Critics Award for Best Supporting Actor.

Ray, being such a popular actor may get caught in the trap of limelight. It is certain from the pictures circulated over the internet that he may have undergone surgeries to maintain his Skin and facial looks apparently.

Facelift

If we notice his Face being in his 60s, his face should be wrinkled and sagging. It should have aspects like eye bags, bulging eyelids, and frail faces. It shouldn’t be flawless with weak skin.

To keep his face youthful he may have undergone a facelift. Facelifts are meant to brighten the skin and get rid of the sagging area. However, it didn’t turn out well for him.His sagging skin at his age of 62 tightened and looked almost frozen and unnatural.

Botox

Plastic Surgery treatments have come up with many new treatments including Botox and many celebrities fall for it very easily. Usually, Botox injections work well in combination with a facelift to fight the sagging skin of old age. Botox promises smoother skin with no stress lines and free of wrinkles.

Apparently, Ray got too much quantity of Botox in his forehead which makes the area appear plastic and unnatural.On this disaster of his, his fans felt sympathy for him. Also, people blamed his plastic surgeon and wished that his condition improves in future as he was mere a victim of the circumstances under a wrong plastic surgeon.

The fillers

The fillers injection worsened his condition. Fillers are used to refreshing some parts of the face or make them look fuller. Probable places in his case are lips and cheeks.These results can be great if performed by skilled and well-experienced surgeons. However, using these fillers made his natural smile disappear into a plastic one giving an eerie impression surrounding his lips and cheeks.

Conclusion

Ray Liotta has denied his surgeries over the years. However, when he appeared at the screen actors Guild awards last year, many fans questioned him if he went under the knife and later compared his appearance to a “perfectly cooked lasagna” and “cottage cheese”. He appeared with his daughter Karsen and looked completely unrecognizable. He looked less rough around the edges and more unnatural. It was pretty evident that he went under plastic surgery.

However, Ray decided to brush this off by justifying his looks and owing them to good exercises and a good diet. Yet we all know that exercises have their limits and one can maintain but not be returned to their youth looking so unnatural.
