Injury ruled Mesut Ozil out of Arsenal’s clash against Stoke City on Sunday – but the German was still cheering on his side as he watched from the comfort of his sofa.
A slight foot injury meant Ozil did not travel to the Britannia Stadium with his team-mates, with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain the man chosen to replace him.
Ozil may not have been there in body, but he was certainly there in spirit.
The German attacking midfielder Ozil took to Twitter during the clash, writing:
"Watching the match vs. Stoke. Hopefully I’ll be back well for the next match. But for now: Come on you Gunners."
The clash ended Goaless, with Arsenal returning to the Premier League Summit.
