Italian Champions Juventus are working to extend the contract of head coach Massimiliano Allegri, Sportsblog360 understands.
Allegri guided the Bianconeri to a fourth consecutive Serie A title and a Champions League final in his first season in charge, having replaced Antonio Conte at the helm of the club.
After a rough start to the Current campaign, Juventus are on course to pick up another league crown at the end of the season, sitting three points clear of Napoli at the top of the table.
The 48-year-old had been heavily linked with a move to Chelsea, but have dismissed such claims, insisting that he is happy where he is.
Allegri has little over a year left on his current deal, the Turin giants are ready to extend it to 2019 and are willing to increase his salary from around €3.5 million per year to €4.5m.
Juventus director Giuseppe Marotta has remained confident of keeping hold of him and believes tying up the contract is "a formality".
