After a gap of two years, finally Muntari sent his apology to the Ghana Football Association after his burst up in Brazil, where he slapped then Black Stars management member Moses Armah Parker.
The Ghanaian midfielder is not new to this kind of burst, with the last one cause his suspension from representing his nation.
However, the Black Stars Captain, Gyan insisted that the midfielder should be given a chance to prove his worthy for the national team of Ghana.
I’m very happy after I heard that Sulley has written a letter of apology. In today’s world, if someone regrets for his actions, we should forgive them and give them a chance, said Gyan during an interview with a radio channel.
Since, now he has apologized for his actions, he is now available for selection and knowing his ability, he will be very useful player for us during next year’s Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.
Sulley Muntari joins Black Stars back in 2002 and still plays international football for a Saudi based side, despite been banned by the Ghana FA.
Asamoah Gyan is also on injury and not been with the team for the last two games, but hoping to be fit soon and win the Nations Cup next January in Gabon.
