Rapper Reggie Rockstone (right)
Ghanaian rapper and member of VVIP trio, Reggie Rockstone has decided to wear ‘fake Adidas’ outfit at the 17th edition of annual music awards and got many people talking about his costume. In what people called ‘fake adidas’ there is ‘I’ instead of ‘I’ in the spellings of adidas.
Either he wore this outfit to make fun of Dancehall King, Shatta Wale or there is some other reason?
Before putting on the clothing, he posted a photograph of his dress on Facebook with the following caption.
He wrote, ‘Rocking my adldas today joe! Fake or not rock is real and dats dat! if it looks good negroes will wear it lol! going to win awards in it too. VVIP all day! Shout out to King Shatta Wale! we na look bak! #hoodvibes’
The fake adidas controversy starts from the music video of Shatta Wale’s latest song, ‘Bie Gya’ when Shatta Wale Wears Fake Adidas hoodie in music video and everyone starts criticizing him and making fun of his fake outfit.
For responding to critics, SM Boss said he wore ‘fake adidas’ for publicity and for those people who are brand conscious. After that many celebrities wore this so called ‘fakes adidas’ outfit.
