A large number of Apple fans are very excited about the Macbook Air 2016 and the MacBook Pro 2016. Whereas the company has kept all the details perfectly locked, leaks and rumors are unstoppable. Today a new speculation states that the new laptops might not get launched before March 2016, which means that they will not be appearing at the March event of Apple.

Apple always gives an upgrade to its MacBook series once every year. However, the situation is different for this year. Apple is holding two events, one in March and one in June. This is confusing the experts as to when the new MacBooks will be disclosed. The last new MacBooks were presented in the first and second quarter last year. Some gossips say that the MacBook Pro will be coming in June while the MacBook Air 2016 will be unveiled in March itself.

However, another report suggests that Apple’s exclusive event in March will be centered on the iPad Air 3, iPhone 5se, and Apple Watch 2. It is being stated that the new laptops will appear only at the WWDC in June. But that will be an appearance only, and the real launch will happen later, maybe in Q3 and Q4.

The new redesigned MacBook Air and MacBook Pro will add at least three new products to the listings. These will contain a 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air, whereas we can expect a 12-inch MacBook (maybe part of the MacBook Pro). The MacBook Pro will come with a thinner frame,  a retina display, a Skylake or Intel Broadwell processor and a USB-C port.

The MacBook Pro 2016 was previously rumored to get a Skylake processor and touchscreen for improved performance, better graphics and power efficiency. However, a report said that the Program Director  of IDC, Ryan Reith thinks that a touchscreen Mac is unavoidable right now and might be possible a couple years later. Some reports even state that the touchpad in the MacBooks provide all sorts of interactive gestures, so a touchscreen is not required.
