Kwabena Kwabena is a passionate supporter of the opposition leader Nana Akufo-Addo.
He is officially noted to have said this in an interview, “What made me campaign for him [Nana Addo] in 2012 has not changed”.
In a recent interview, the gentle voiced singer talked about his upcoming music album, which is going to be released in April 2016 and feature hits like Tuamuda and Ensisa.
When asked if he would ever accept an appointment from President Mahama, he answered: “It depends on the field, if it’s in my field and I am self assured that I can, because we are working for Ghana. We have to realize it as a country; to be honest; I’m fed up of our mindset as Ghanaians. It’s harmful and not right for the youth; we should have an attitude of ‘Ghana First’ and nothing other than that. If we do that while not caring who is President, we can lambast or commend whoever.”
Kwabena will be hosting Samini, Okyeame Kwame, Bisa Kdei, Nero X, along with other musicians at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) on Saturday 13 February 2016 for a pre-Valentine’s show dubbed F14 Concert.
