Among the string of new movies on the horizon from Walt Disney-owned Marvel, fans at Comic-Con in San Diego got a taste of Doctor Strange.
It’s the story of neurosurgeon Stephen Strange whose life takes a bizarre twist when he loses the use of his hands.
With the help of the Ancient One he enters a world of magic an alternate dimensions.
Benedict Cumberbatch, who plays Strange, praised the enthusiasm of Comic-Con fans.

There’s been some controversy over the casting of Tilda Swinton as the Ancient One, originally in Asian character in the comic books.
Chiwetel Ejiofor who’s also in the movie says the movie features a widely Diverse Cast regardless.

“It’s a really diverse cast that includes races and different genders and so on and I think that that’s what we’re striving to achieve.”
The introduction of Chad Boseman as the titular hero of the new Black Panther movie got a rapturous welcome. The cast is almost entirely African-American
Members of the Spider-Man Homecoming were on parade as well.
It’s the life of 15-year-old Peter Parker hiding his superhero alter-ego to get through the more down to earth trials of homework, puberty and girls.
Also making an appearance, some of the stars of Guardians of the Galaxy 2, among them Kurt Russell who’s revealed as Star Lord’s dad.
Many of the 6, 500 audience for the Marvel offerings had queued through the night at the annual film and pop culture event.
