Republican presidential candidate John Kasich says, “The country just wants to knock all the pieces off the chess board,” at a campaign event in Massachusetts.

“Every day I wake up and there’s another crazy thing happening in this campaign,” he said. “And apparently today, I don’t understand it, but Donald Trump refused to disassociate himself and condemn white supremacists, every day it’s another thing,” Kasich said. “And that is just horrific, we don’t have any place for white supremacists in the United States of America,” he said. “he really needs to make his position clear,” he said.

Trump said that he didn’t know enough to disavow former Ku Klux Klan grand wizard David Duke, who voiced support for Trump on Facebook.

On Friday Trump said, “David Duke endorsed me? OK, all right. I disavow, OK?”

Speaking about sentiment in the United states Kasich said, “The country just wants to knock all the pieces off the chess board.”

“And I am going to tell you what is going to happen, we are going to get nothing done…Maybe that’s what the public wants, we will see,” he said.

“I am beating Hillary Clinton by more than any other republican candidate for President,” he said. An average of polls taken by Real Clear Politics shows Kasich beating Democrat Hillary Clinton by more than 7 percent.
