Voters say expect the unexpected

Voters in Deerfield New Hampshire say "there's gonna be a lot of surprises" as they cast ballots in first primary in Presidential race. Deborah Lutterbeck reports.

In the final hours of voting a WMUR-CNN poll showed Donald Trump leading the Republican race — which is just fine for Glenn Robbins.

“I kinda feel it’s Gonna go Trump because I think the country is ready for a different venue, lets say. Then again, that’s what makes this country great. Everybody has a choice. All’s I know is I’m going for Trump.”

On the Democratic side, Senator Bernie Sanders holds a strong lead over former secretary of state Hillary Clinton. Caroline Robbins says, Expect the unexpected.

“I just think there’s gonna be a lot of surprises. I think it’s gonna be close because I think people are actually gonna go out and do their thing and vote. “

That’s a view shared by Charles Kelsey.

“I think we’re going to have a surprise that will include Trump taking a fall and some of our congressional, actually governor candidates will emerge in particular. I think either Bush or Christie.”

New Hampshire is the second state to pick party nominees for the Nov. 8 election to replace President Barack Obama. State officials are predicting a historically high turnout, with Voters in Deerfield saying the winners could be anyone’s guess.
