The entire Bollywood fraternity seems to be divided on the Ongoing Controversy regarding the ban of Pakistani artistes’ in India. The latest to join the bandwagon is John Abraham. According to the “Dhoom” actor, the country comes first for him than anything else.
The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) had earlier objected to the screening of Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ as an aftermath of the poignant Uri Attack – a Film featuring Pakistani heart-throb Fawad Khan in a cameo role. Not only this film, they have objected to the screening of any film featuring any Pakistani actor.
When asked about this ongoing controversy, the actor awaiting the release of his film ‘Force 2’ said:
“I think enough has been spoken about it. You (the media) expect us to join the bandwagon and comment.”
He further said:
“I think, our song (Lal Rang from Force 2) says it all. The song reflects the way we feel. My country comes first. My country is most important to me. We are not Hindus or Muslims or Christians, we are Indians.”
John was speaking at the launch of the song “Lal Rang” from “Force 2” when the question was asked. The film awaits a November 18 release.
