The New Craze In The World Of Coffee….
Butter coffee is hitting it big and for a lot of good reasons. Yes it does sound a bit strange I grant you. I'm sure there's a slight look of disgust on some of your faces, with many of you thinking that cant be healthy right? wrong!
As long as you are using grass fed butter and not your bog standard corn fed plastic block of i cant believe it's not butter (honestly i can believe that muck isn't butter) Then you're fine! Now your options for this in uk supermarkets are pretty limited but your best bet is to go for the unsalted kerry gold butter. This comes in the silver foil rather than the green foil the normal kerry gold butter is in. The healthy fats in your grass fed butter act like a magic carpet for your caffeine fix sustaining a slow steady release of energy rather than the usual peak and crash us coffee addicts are all too used to.
So what are you going to need:
- 1 cup of coffee (pretty please don't use instant)
- 1 table spoon of grass fed butter
- A Blender/ Nutribullet
- Your favorite mug
This is a simple one but also the easy to mess up. All you need is one cup of coffee. ( any brew method you want ) One table spoon of grass fed butter. Next is where most people make the big mistake , if your going to take anything away with you from this article its that you must blend these ingredients! Stiring and relying heat just wont work all that you'll achieve is making something that more resembles a day old mug of gravy.
With most blenders your going to need a little 10-20 seconds buzz but if you are one of those lucky few with a vitamix then a couple of goes on the blitz setting will work.
Next step pour the beautiful creamy concoction into your favorite mug then enjoy your day clear headed and caffeine crash fee.
