Maari (played by Dhanush) was grown up in a slum area in Chennai. He loves pigeons and he develops keen interest in pigeons. One day Maari thinks that he can earn more money on Pigeon Race and shifts his focus towards pigeon race. He almost gets addicted to it.

Due to some reasons, he made a clash with some local guys and with this, he turned as a Local Don. But, problems come to him in the form of Arjun Kumar (Played by Vijay Yesudas) who is a Police Officer. What is the problem faced by Maari? How does he manage police officer? Forms the rest of the story.

Audiences can observe a lot of transformation in Dhanush. Be it his body language, slang and dialogue delivery. Dhanush performed well in a local don role.Actress Kajal Agarwal’s role is limited and she is at her best when it comes to acting. Actor Vijay Yesudas failed to impress the audiences. Robo Shankar gave the best fun to the audiences and his dialogues are funny.
