High School Students and their Materialistic Views

As a high school student, naturally my personality judges other students at a very precise level. Going to the high school where students are most privileged in my city means that I see the ways money encourages their behavior. I've noticed a change in style as I've moved from freshman year to junior year. Fraternity and sorority styles have reached high school where the high class brands (Vineyard Vines, Polo, Southern Marsh) take on a whole new criticizing level. These brands signify wealth among the students. Money plays an important part in the average teenager. With more money, we are able to acquire more things: cars, video games, movies, clothes. All signs of wealth. I based this project on the fact that we are human ATM's. Our mindsets always revolve around money, how much we have, how much we don't, and how much we are going to receive.
