Remember when an online scam led Iphone owners to believe that a software update would make their device impervious to water? That was a good one… unless you were one of the idiots who believed the story and took your phone in the bath.
Well, three years later and it looks like Apple really is going to make its next iPhone Waterproof. Following extensive market research, Apple have discovered that one of the most wanted features is waterproof casing.
Apple acquired the patent for so-called ‘liquidmetal’ back in 2010, and many tech experts are predicting that the technology will be used to fashion a waterproof iPhone 7. And if you think that this is far-fetched, it’s worth remembering the Sony released a waterproof Xperia smartphone several years ago.
Behance has created some images of what the new iPhone might look like. As well as having a waterproof case, they’re predicting that Apple’s new flagship device will offer full-screen gaming, e-motion sound, wireless charging and a glass screen that could harness solar power.
Impressive. But then again, this phone should be able to make your lunch, wipe your arse and pleasure you on a daily basis when it costs nearly £700.
