David Alan Coulier, also known as Dave, and better known as Joey Gladstone from the super-hit ABC Television series Full House is known for his skills as an actor, a stand-up comedian and an exceptional voice-over artist. Coulier discovered his potential in the entertainment sector way back in his school days, where he, along with his close friend and partner Mark Cendrowski, were encouraged to write and perform comedic sketches.

Coulier began his career by moving to Los Angeles two years after his graduation, and was first hired by Hanna Barbera Studios. Next, he started shifting towards acting and was cast in Out of Control, a late-night kids’ show that was aired on Nickelodeon, and that was when Coulier’s signature catchphrase, “Cut it out”, became a favorite amongst his underground following.

His career prides over a huge number of voice-over and acting roles, but the winners are undoubtedly Full House, where he played Bob Saget’s best friend and comedian, Joey Gladstone, and Muppet Babies, where he worked alongside the genius, Jim Henson, and gave his voice to as many as three characters in the animated show. Other roles include voice-overs in The Jetsons and Scooby-Doo, and host in America’s Funniest People and America’s Most Talented Kid.

What makes Coulier lovable is his family-friendly humor, which also led him to founding a multimedia organization called The Clean Guys of Comedy. Most of his stand-up acts revolve around his exceptional mimicking abilities, where he also includes a harmonica sometimes. Apart from being an avid entertainer, he is a private pilot and is an ice hockey fan. Multi-talented is definitely Dave’s middle name!
