Ameesha Patel made a snide comment on newcomer Pooja Hegde, who made a Bollywood debut with Hrithik Roshan’s Mohenjo Daro. Comparing the success that Patel tasted after her debut Kaho Na…Pyaar Hai, the actress said ‘not every film can achieve the same success’.

When Ameesha was asked about the sequel to the 2000 hit film, she told IANS, “I would want a sequel to Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai. But more than me, it’s the audience who are looking forward to the same. In fact, the social media pages are flooded with messages from fans for Hrithik, Rakesh Roshan and Filmkraft Productions to come back together with Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai 2.”

She further added, “Even now, for the promotions of Mohenjo Daro, if you guys noticed, Pooja Hegde’s Dubsmashed a song from my film and Hrithik too was promoting Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai everywhere. I’m sorry that Mohenjo Daro didn’t do well. Though their plan was to come with a newcomer, every film cannot achieve the same success as Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai. If Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai 2 comes out, it will obviously take a bumper opening.”

Ameesha will next be seen in Neeraj Pathak’s Bhaiyyaji Superhitt along with Sunny Deol, Preity Zinta.
