Hollywood animation flick The Angry Birds Movie has performed better than other Bollywood releases in its 1st weekend. The film collected 2.16 crores on Friday, 3.26 crores on Saturday and 3.62 crores on Sunday.
The film now stands with the total collection of 9.04 crores. It is performing well in the multiplexes and has a great chance to stay well at the box office in the week days.
The film can’t earn much in its 2nd week as the Akshay Kumar starrer Housefull 3 will occupy most of the screens.
The Angry Birds Movie is directed by Clay Kaytis and Fergal Reilly and features the voice-overs of Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Danny McBride, Maya Rudolph, Kate McKinnon and Sean Penn.
