The much awaited Diwali release, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, is releasing nationwide on October 28. With the Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis paving the way for the release and MNS not opposing the release of the film any longer, exhibitors are breathing a sigh of release as they have been hailing ADHM as a must watch Diwali entertainer for the entire family.
Mukesh Bhatt, the President of the Producers Guild says, “Some irrelevant body calling themselves as exhibitor association were trying to be in the news by capitalising on the sensitive political scenario. We strongly condemn such acts. It is cheap and cannot be tolerated. Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is a film about celebrating love this Diwali. It is a perfect film to play in the theatres and it is releasing nationwide on October 28.”
CCCA (Central Circuit Cine Association, representing cinemas in CP-CI-Rajasthan) Executive body member Aditya Chowksey, says, “About 2 months back I had signed ADHM for Diwali release in nearly 50 single screen cinemas controlled and programmed by me. ADHM is clearly the Diwali film to watch out for. The product is extremely hot right now and we expect very strong advance bookings and opening.”
“There is huge demand for ADHM. It is a romantic entertainer that goes well with the festive mood and the spirit of Diwali. The songs are also huge hits. The audience is definitely looking forward to watch the movie in cinemas,” Alok Tandon, CEO, INOX Leisure Ltd.
“ADHM will be screened in all our theatres in Pune. It is a Diwali entertainer that everyone wants to see as it speaks about celebrating love,” confirms Arvind Chapalka, Owner of City Pride Chain.
Anil Thadani, owner AA Films (a leading distribution house says, “All single screens and multiplexes are screening ADHM. This is a big film, with big names releasing in a festive period to bring joy to our audiences.”

Directed by Karan Johar, the film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in lead roles.
