Many are on the cards but only one has caught Bhai’s attention…

Salman Khan is on a high. His films mint money like crazy. He just has to stand in front of the camera and the film becomes a rage. When such is the might of an actor, everyone would want to work with him. Often, you will hear rumours about him signing a film or other. Currently, the actor is only doing Kabir Khan‘s Sino-Indian war tale Tubelight, the shoot of which began yesterday in Ladakh. But there are other films that have reached Salman and we can tell you what is their status.

Rajkumar Santoshi’s film

A lot has been said about this project. Only recently we told you how the film has almost been shelved. There is a reason why the actor may not have greenlighted the project. We hear Salman is not happy with the script and wants some changes in it. Apparently, it’s a love story. Yes, we do feel bad that we won’t get to see the actor do an out and out romantic film but then script matters.

Dhoom 4

Salman Khan had said in an interview during Sultan’s promotions that he doesn’t fancy turning a baddie. He told DNA, “I don’t like that genre at all. I don’t want to be a villain. I believe in entertaining the audience. I like playing the hero, a good man whose memory people carry back home.” We agree he does a fab job at that. But that’s not the reason why he doesn’t have interest in Dhoom 4. There is no script in place for this film, so obviously there is no point for Salman Khan to feel elated about it.

Dabangg 3

Arbaaz Khan recently told Bombay Times that Dabangg 3 will have Sonakshi Sinha and one more heroine since there is a scope for another. Salman Khan will definitely be part of it without doubt. The film will go on the floors in the mid 2017 and now we know why. Arbaaz Khan has been concentrating on his acting career now after receiving appreciation for his work in Kapil Sharma’s Kis Kis Ko Pyaar Karoon. He is presently shooting a film with Sunny Leone titled Tera Intezaar. So things for Dabangg 3 will start rolling only after that.

Race 3

Interestingly, Race 3 is the only film that Salman Khan is considering positively. And there’s a reason for that too. After Kick, Salman hasn’t done any slick and stylish character. He has been a Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Sultan, both earthy and grounded characters. Now he wants to be a fashionable guy and flaunt some style. He plays a baddie in the film who will have a lot of chicness attached to him. We would love to see him in that! Any style that Salman flaunts becomes a trend and if the actor says yes to this, be prepared for some trendsetting fashion.
