Emraan Hashmi has been very closely attached to Raaz franchise. The first film which starred Bipasha Basu, and Emraan as a first time assistant director and the following two sequels, saw Emraan join the lead cast. Now he returns, yet again as the male lead of the fourth entry in the popular horror franchise. The film titled Raaz Reboot is all set for a September 16 release and is garnering god hype. The actor is leaving no stone unturned in promoting this film. He is literally putting in all his efforts, even if it means visiting an actual haunted house and documenting the experience. Yep. Emraan actually visited a haunted house in Bandra, with a team of paranormal experts and tried to summon spirits there, the video of which is now available online.
Emraan has admitted at an event that he was a bit of a twisted kid as he started watching horror films at a very young age. “I was bit of a twisted kid who used to watch horror films from age seven. I don’t feel as scared as the average person but I still do feel it,” Clearly, the daring act of visiting a haunted house comes as no surprise as we know of his affinity towards the unexplainable world of ghosts and spirits. To promote Raaz Reboot he, along with a small crew, and paranormal experts entered a house in Bandra, which is allegedly haunted, and felt the presence of ‘something’. He even tried the infamous Ouija board method of summoning the spirits, and if the video is to be believed, he successfully did invite an entity over.

Well, do you believe the videos or not? Tell us in comments below. We for one were definitely spooked out and hats off to Emraan’s fearlessness for carrying this out.
Talking about the story of the film Emraan has something insightful to say. Interacting to a news portal, the actor said “It is unlike anything you’ve ever seen. It is primarily a love story and revolves around the inter-personal relationships of three people. But the core story is about horror,” That formulae has certainly worked for Raaz before, we bet it will work this time as well. “I would say the general perception is horror doesn’t get a place in the archive of path-breaking cinema even in Hollywood. That’s the truth … I am doing it purely because of the genre,” Emraan further added.
Directed by Vikram Bhatt, the fourth instalment of the Raaz franchise features Emraan with south Indian actress Kriti Kharbanda. The film has been shot in Romania.
Emraan says shooting for the fourth part was nerve-wracking for him. He said: “It was a nerve-wracking experience doing this film. Since it is a successful franchise, we want to take it ahead to another level. The look of the film is unique which is being appreciated. The audiences are expecting a lot from this film so I am excited to see their response.”
