Hello to all!

As I mentioned in my Versatile Blogger Award post, I’m a huge fan of MMO gaming.As an avid Anime watcher, I’ve seen some amazing worlds that I think would translate beautifully to an online game format. So today, I’m here to count down my top 5 picks for anime that I think would make great MMO’s.

Keep in mind, I’m not a developer, so I have no idea what would go into making an online game like any of these worlds. Also, I won’t be considering any anime that have online games already, so don’t expect Naruto, Bleach or SAO to be on here.

Now then, let’s get to it!

5. Durarara

This may be an odd choice, but imagine traveling the city of Ikebukuro , engaging in the crazy lives of characters such as Izaya Orihara and Shizuo Heiwajima.

Work with Izaya to troll the Dollars, or fight alongside Shizuo and just smash everything! Think of the possiblities!

This would most likely be a game geared towards casual MMO players, but I think it would be a great game nonetheless.

4. Highschool DxD

Let me be clear on one thing: I DON’T mean as a hentai game when I say Highschool DxD would make a good MMO.

What I do mean is the thought Fighting with demons and fallen angels. Imagine fighting as part of Rias peerage, or someone else’s. Or making your own peerage by recruiting NPCs.

You could  even fighting against devils as a fallen angel. The excitement is real! Perfect for fans of fantasy action games!

3. Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure

You might think I’m breaking my own rule, since JJBA already has two video games to it’s name.

However, what I mean is a game where players explore an open world. Imagine getting your own stand or Hamon technique, and fighting the Pillar Men alongside Joseph Joestar himself, fighting against DIO with the Stardust Crusaders.

Working in the different time periods would probably be a hassle, but I think it would be worth it for a game that could offer so much.

2. RWBY

I probably don’t need to explain much here, because I think it’s pretty obvious why RWBY would make a great online game.

The possiblities of creating your own character and weapons, fighting against Grimm, working to take down Salem and her crew.

Or you could go a darker route, working with Salem to rule all of Remnant.

A RWBY MMO would be great for all of us who love the world Rooster Teeth has created,

1. Tokyo Ghoul

Tokyo Ghoul, in my opinion, would make an amazing MMO.

Imagine something like Prototype, but online and with insane combat potential. Work with Anteiku, bringing peace between ghouls and humans. Or fight with Aogiri, asserting ghoul dominance above all.

The potential for story and gameplay is extremely high for Tokyo Ghoul as a MMO.
