DC went on to post their highest-ever total of 231/4 in the tournament, batting first after KXIP won the toss and chose to bowl.

DC’s openers, David Warner and Virender Sehwag, put up an outstanding opening partnership of 146 runs in just 11.4 overs, which set the tone for the rest of the innings.

Sehwag played a stunning innings, smashing 77 off just 35 balls, including eight fours and four sixes. On the other hand, Warner also played his part, scoring a quickfire 77 off 48 balls, which included seven fours and four sixes.

10. DC(205/4) Vs Pune Supergiants

In this match, Delhi Capitals won the toss and elected to bat first. Their openers Sanju Samson and Sam Billings provided a solid start, adding 69 runs in the first six overs.

Samson scored 31 off 22 balls, while Billings made 24 off 17 balls. Rishabh Pant, the wicket-keeper batsman, played a brilliant innings of 36 runs off 22 balls before getting dismissed by Imran Tahir.

However, the real damage was done by Corey Anderson and Chris Morris, who remained unbeaten on 39 off 22 balls and 38 off 9 balls, respectively.

Pune Supergiants, in response, could only manage to score 108/10 in 16.1 overs, thus losing the match by 97 runs.

Delhi Capitals bowlers Pat Cummins, Chris Morris, and Amit Mishra took two wickets each and restricted Pune to a low total. With this win, Delhi Capitals registered their biggest victory in terms of runs in the history of IPL.
