#Authors Tony Robles & Robert Flor in HOT OFF THE PRESS LITERARY READINGS Oct. 7 & 8, 2017 #FilAm Book Fest

Here are two more authors who'll be participating  in the HOT OFF THE Press Literary Readings in San Francisco on October 7 and 8, 2017.  These readings are part of the San Francisco International Filipino American Literary Festival. They will be held at the San Francisco Main Library at 100 Larkin Street, Civic Center, San Francisco, CA 94102.

Tony Robles will be reading from Fingerprints of a Hunger Strike (Spear Press 2017).
















Tony Robles is a San Francisco poet and author of Cool Don't Live Here No More--A letter to San Francisco. Short list finalist for poet laureate of SF, 2017 and recipient of SF Art Commission individual artist grant 2017-2018. Fingerprints of a Hunger Strike is his second poetry/short story collection published by Ithuriel's Spear Press. Tony serves as board president of the Manilatown Heritage Foundation.










Robert Flor will be reading from Alaskero Memories (Carayan Press 2016).











Robert Francis Flor, Ph.D  from Seattle co-chairs Pinoy Words Expressed Kultura Arts. His poems appeared in the “Field of Mirrors”, “Voices of the Asian American Experience” and “Where Are You From?” the Thymos Book Project.  “Alaskero Memories”, his poetry chapbook was published in 2016 by Carayan Press.  He writes plays about the Filipino community in Seattle. His short plays “The Injury” (2013), “Pinoy Hill” (2014); “Pinakbet” (2015) were performed Eclectic Theatre Festival.  “Salamangka’s Barber Shop” was read at Burien Actors Theatre (2015).  “Mabuhay Majesty” his full-length play was recently produced at Seattle’s Rainier Arts Center (2017).
