Hey fellas are you ready to buy some rare Fashion items? Well look no further because the Grailed 100 is back starting tomorrow. This is an annual array of 100 rare and coveted pieces that will be auctioned off and sold. For those of you who don’t know what Grailed is, it’s a marketplace for preowned menswear pieces from streetwear to runway items.
Grailed hasn’t been launched but for a short time but has made quite a name for itself in men’s internet fashion. They even have a blog that gets users excited about these hard to come by fashions. While most of the business is done online, they have a headquarters in Soho. The Grailed HQ has been visited by fashion forward individuals like upcoming model Luka Sabbat and rapper/fashion enthusiast ASAP Rocky.
Last year marked the first Grailed 100 which included the selling of designs by Rick Owens, Fear of God, and Supreme. The second Grailed 100 is expected to offer a range of rare pieces from designers like Raf Simons, Helmut Lang, and the aforementioned designers from the first edition.
What men’s fashion lover doesn’t want late ‘90s Helmut Lang, Balenciaga tees, Saint Laurent boots, or rare fashion items from the Japanese brand Undercover? Grailed is an innovative way for men to buy and sell clothes similar to eBay but tailored to “fashionistos”.
The founder of Grailed is Arun Gupta. Gupta established Grailed because he said there was no secondhand clothing entity that catered to men’s fashion. Apparently the fashion voice needed to be filled because Grailed has 70,000 listings posted each month with 200,000 active users.
The second Grailed 100 sale starts tomorrow, November 15th. Prices for individual items will be revealed tomorrow at 12 PM EST online and the Grailed app. If you want to get your hands on some exclusive make sure you show up ready to shop.
