"Dying Breed" by The Killers
The Killers recently released their new album Imploding the Mirage and it’s been on blast in the Ventipop studios all week. “Dying Breed” is the track we agreed to feature, but it was an emotional negotiation between the staff.
Rolling Stone says of “Dying Breed”…finds the Killers at their triumphant best, riding a steady, but tightly-wound chug over the course of the song’s first two minutes, then blowing it up at the halfway mark into full-on arena rock glory. “From the coveted touch a girl in love,” Brendan Flowers sings, “I was lifted by the sound of a spirit in need/Baby, we’re a dying breed.”
