The group sang their hit song “September” on the float's Parade from a platform that rose from the middle of a float shaped like the Inglewood Forum. The act was a nod to the group's 1977 concert at The Inglewood Forum where they entered the venue from the ceiling in huge, dark, glass capsules.
The 40 plus includes seven Billboard Top 10 hits including “Shining Star” (in 1975), which reached #1; “September,” "Boogie Wonderland," "Got To Get You Into My Life" and “Let’s Groove.”
Later this year, the group have a six-show residency at the Venetian in Las Vegas on May 2. 4.5.9.11. and 12. Every ticket the group will donate $1 to the Vegas Victims Funds.
